Vag-com 409.1 Driver

The only issue I had was one vag-com crash while trying to test a connection. Rebooted and it was fine. When the port test passes, everything seems to work fine.

I notice that alpha-bid seems to be recommending combination 1.

Has anyone tried both of the configurations above.

Does anyone have a preference or technical justification for using one software driver combination or the other.

If someone from alpha-bid or related could respond on this, that sure would be helpful.
